Doing recovery for stray/feral cats isn't that much fun!
This is how we found one of the recovery cages today, the culprit was very proud of it! 😅
Cleaning cages isn't that safe when you have a VERY naughty boy like this to take care of!🤕

The little girl who was brought to us by a "feeder" last week to be neutered was so hungry! (unfortunately there are a lot of these so called "feeders").
She finished her antibiotics and could be released in the streets (with her "feeder") but of course we didn't have the heart to do this!
So... we set up a cage (again) in our living room and she'll stay here....😁

We also felt sorry for the neutered boy with an ear infection who is on antibiotics for 10 days. We didn't want to leave him in a recovery cage for such a long time and -guess what- we can't release him either in his colony 😹 as he keeps his head tilted and we have a doubt if he has (only) an ear infection.
We've put him in a big room so he has a lot of space and can roam around and he'll stay here also so we can monitor him.
For now he's hiding in a pallet (in the left corner) but hopefully he'll be more confident and trusting soon!

All they want for Christmas is YOU!!!

4 cats from colonies were neutered.
It was a hell of a week trying to catch!
The black female is the mother of the Siamese and grey tabby males who were neutered two weeks ago and we didn't want her to get pregnant again!
She will stay in our recovery for 7 days with antibiotics and pain killers.
The little champagne and white female is not from our colonies (where they are all very well fed!) but a "feeder" caught her and brought her to us. She was extremely hungry and we're so sorry to put her back in her colony again....
She will stay in our recovery for 7 days with antibiotics and pain killers.
The big male tabby is a bully (always fighting) and we're so happy that we finally caught him! No more babies from him!
He will be released on the 3rd December 2023.
The champagne male was caught in one of our colonies. He was acting very strange, as if he was disorientated, so he was vet checked if he was possibly blind but according to our vet he has an ear infection and will stay in our recovery for 10 days with antibiotics.
